I love leather. It rarely happens I buy shoes that are not made out of it. Same goes for my favorite bags and jackets. But, I’m not always on a ‘leather budget.’ As you know, if you want high quality leather, you’re gonna have to pay for it. Simple as that. Thankfully nowadays the faux leather is getting better and better. Except for being cheaper, the other upside on fake leather is that you can actually wash it. Something that’s impossible with real leather stuff. I recently stumbled into these skirts from ICHI and Street One and dress by DEPT. Kinda hard to say if the leather’s real or not, right? One last tip, if you’re ever in doubt whether you’re buying fake or real leather, just sniff it! Leather has a strong scent, which you’ll immediately  recognize (I think it’s a delicious smell) and fake doesn’t smell at all!
