Honey, I shrunk your jumpers!

The best way to extend your closet with new, but cheap, items is to shrink your boyfriends clothes. Okay, maybe not, but I accidentally did let two of my boyfriends, nearly new, jumpers shrink, while washing them. I don’t know what went wrong with the green sweater from Urban Outfitters, only that it got smaller everytime I washed it. And the grey jumper from Zara suddenly popped up between the towel- and sportswear wash, when the washing machine was already doing it’s work. Too hot for that baby, obviously. Sad, but thankfully, the jumpers aren’t wasted, because the weird thing is: they shrunk into exactly my size!
No kidding. They fit me perfectly. I bought the poor husband a new jumper of course, so I’ve paid my debt. And I promise to be more careful washing woolen stuff. But did you know it’s not necessary recommended to hand wash things? The machine is better in dividing the washing powder and keeping the right temperature then yourself. Even though the label sometimes advises to do the washing by hand, it’s better for your clothes to put them into the machine. Just don’t wash ‘m too hot….
